Taking name as the most sought after trekking peak in the Himalayas thanks to its challenging geographical conditions, almost 300 groups endeavour to scale the summit of Island Peak every year. The enormous mountain 20,305’ high is much-loved by hill walkers who are looking to use their ropes and fixed lines on higher and harder mountains with exposed summit ridges.
